Property Inspector

Being a property inspector, you have come to realize the importance of balancing your time between the inspections, reports, and scheduling the next appointment.

We have been told a property inspector has a real scheduling challenge for new customers while actually being on the job. "It is very difficult to answer the phone while crawling under the house." Chris Kodani told us.

He was looking for the convenience of an online scheduler that would accommodate his business.

His requirements were:

  1. Take an appointment while he was busy ( which was most of the day )

    • Customers are able to book appointments using the Octomize appointment scheduler at their convenience. They select the inspection service (1), choose a date (2), chose a service provider and time (3), and enter the property to be inspected location(4).
    • Booking a property inspector service

    • Customers are shown the service area and if the customer location is outside the service area they are notified (5).

  2. Let him know when he received an appointment while he was out of the office

    • Immediate appointment notifications are sent to the property inspector by e-mail and text message.
    • In addition a copy of the scheduled appointment order and the appointment reminders are sent to the customer and the inspector.
  3. Show him on a map where the property was located

    • The emails have an map link for the locationOrder confirmation and reminder e-mails have an appointment map location.

    • The Octomize administration screen for current property inspection appointments has a map link.

  4. Send a copy of the inspection form to the customer

    • One or more documents can be attached to the order confirmation e-mail. The documents can be in pdf, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, text, or image format.

Very pleased with Octomize Scheduler as this service allows my clients to book an appointment, day or night. They get to choose the day and time that I am available, while I am out on a job. On my phone I will be notified via email that I have a new appointment, as to who they are, address, city phone and email.
