Property Inspector
Being a property inspector, you have come to realize the importance of balancing your time between the inspections, reports, and scheduling the next appointment.
We have been told a property inspector has a real scheduling challenge for new customers while actually being on the job. "It is very difficult to answer the phone while crawling under the house." Chris Kodani told us.
He was looking for the convenience of an online scheduler that would accommodate his business.
His requirements were:
- Take an appointment while he was busy ( which was most of the day )

- Customers are shown the service area and if the customer location is outside the service area they are notified (5).
- Let him know when he received an appointment while he was out of the office
- Immediate appointment notifications are sent to the property inspector by e-mail and text message.
- In addition a copy of the scheduled appointment order and the appointment reminders are sent to the customer and the inspector.
- Show him on a map where the property was located
- The emails have an map link for the location
- The Octomize administration screen for current property inspection appointments has a map link.
- Send a copy of the inspection form to the customer
- One or more documents can be attached to the order confirmation e-mail. The documents can be in pdf, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, text, or image format.
